The Script
Part 1
Matt: Minecraft is the phenomenon that took the world by storm. Minecraft is like a double edged sword it has an amazing creativity tool and when night falls upon the randomly generated land, Minecraft gets a different feel, the feel of horror. This new world is filled with Zombies, giant spiders and other things that are scary and want to kill you.
Part 2
Hayden: Minecraft uses the graphical resolution of 16 x 16, or 16 bits.
Lomies: yes and somehow the graphics appear aesthetically good, and incredibly immersive for such a simple looking game.
Hayden: And if you feel like the graphics aren’t to you specifications you can design or download a texture pack. As we have done, this allows for Minecraft to look however you want.
Part 3
Matt: hey Chris! What are you doing?
Chris: I am messing around in creative; it has a lot of Freedom.
Matt: yeah, well Minecraft in general has a lot of freedom anyway like... The world can generate 8 times the size of the earth!
Chris: Yeah.
Matt: And you can use anything you want to build anything you want.
Chris: Yeah.
Matt: like this is my building style...
Chris: Yeah.
Matt: Minecraft has its limitations too.
Chris: like the height limit and Bedrock
Matt: exactly!
Chris: but we have so much freedom!
Matt: and the drives to explore and find things like useless gold!
Chris: Yeah!
Part 4
Hayden: Mobs are the animals and monsters that roam Minecraft. They can provide food and clothing, and at the same time there are some mobs that only have blood on their mind.
Matt: Only 15 peaceful mobs can spawn near you, and 200 hostile mobs spawn to kill you. Dangerous Mobs are easy to find, as Chris will now demonstrate...
Matt: you see.
Hayden: Hostile Mobs only spawn when it gets dark.
Chris: The Different types of hostile Mobs are:
Chris: Zombies, these are brain-dead humanoid creatures that run at you hungry for flesh. You can use anything to kill these, even daylight
Hayden: Spiders, the only way a spider can harm you are when they run into you like the zombies. Spiders can climb walls. So ensure that your forts are spider proof. Watch out for their lunges! Spiders become neutral during the day.
Matt: Skeletons, these ones are... well, skeletons with bows. It is best to side-step them and take them at range, don’t stand still when up against them.
Chris: Creepers, these ones are iconic. The creeper looks like a big green pe-they are the most threatening mobs as not only do they explode and destroy you and the surrounding environment, but they are completely silent except on grass. Creepers alSSSssso live through the day.
Hayden: Endermen, these are interesting in nature, they are passive until you stare at them. If you do they stare back until you look away. Then they run toward you and attack. Fighting them with a sword is dangerous as they teleport behind you. If you accidentally look at one look at them again and kill it with arrows.
Matt: Cave Spiders, these ones are blue rather than their larger cousins black colour. The cave spider can poison you... I remember being poisoned once... OOMMGG IM POISONED!!!! FUUUUUU!!!!... Yeah it wasn’t fun! Cave spiders can climb like the regular spiders. The best way is to kill it is to use arrows and possibly a diamond sword before it kills you!
Chris: Slimes, slimes vary in size; they can be very small or very big. Slimes tend to stick around walls and corners in an ambush position on the lowest levels of the world. Small slimes don’t actually hurt you. They often try to push you around. People often keep small slimes as pets as they can also climb ladders.
Hayden: Ghasts, Ghasts and Zombie Pigmen are only found in the nether. They are large white balloon looking things that shoot fireballs at you. The best way to kill them is by using arrows, and if you have a fishing rod you can reel them in to hit them with your sword, you can also deflect their fireballs.
Matt: Zombie Pigmen, despite their threatening appearance and sound. You should not pick a fight with these guys, as they only attack in retaliation.
Part 5
Lomies: Matt did you start a new world?
Matt: yes I did! What do you think?
Lomies: it’s nice...and dry.
Matt: yeah I wanted to take the challenge of surviving first night with not much wood.
Lomies: A tough challenge. That’s what I love about Minecraft; you can play it forever if you really want.
Matt: and unless you use a specific seed, your world will be different every time. I also replayed Minecraft when the 1.8 Update came out
Lomies: and we also made a new map for the server.
Matt: people everywhere have started anew in Minecraft due to new updates.
Lomies: Custom maps are another way to play the game.
Matt: you can find Custom maps on the Minecraft Forums.
Part 6
Chris: I love mods. But some mods spoil the game, Like No-clip.
Hayden: But some mods are more like expansions than cheats, Like the Aether Mod. This mod is like a heaven, with its own mobs blocks, items and dungeons. It’s like a fresh start all over again
Chris: all mods have their own risks and advantages. They can be fun if installed correctly.
Hayden: However there is a possibility that it might contain viruses that can potentially crash your computer. So we strongly recommend that you only get mods from your friends or from Minecraft forums that have good reviews. After all every good Mod is on the forums.
Part 7
Matt: So Minecraft is definitely worth buying. It is an amazing creativity tool and a great Survival game! You can have hours and hours and hours of fun!
Lomies: It has incredible replay ability, and despite the simple graphics, everything looks good somehow!
Matt: And one last word, please properly purchase Minecraft. I think that donating a small fee for Minecraft is the least we can do to thank the team at Mojang and Most importantly Notch for all the hard work they put into this great game.
Lomies: And a big thanks you for watching this Short Review!
Matt: if you have any questions or if some information is incorrect leave a comment below or send us an email and we will get around to answering you.
